The Biden Administration has overhauled the guidance for government attorneys in the Immigration Courts concerning Removal Proceedings.  They have instructed the attorneys to exercise discretion on any matter involving an immigrant who arrived in the US prior to November 1, 2020.  In many of these cases, it is now possible to close or dismiss the Removal Proceedings initiated against persons unlawfully present in the US, provided that person has no criminal record.  I encourage anyone currently in Removal Proceedings before the Immigration Court who entered the US prior to November 1, 2020 and who has no criminal record, to contact my offices to schedule a consultation appointment to discuss these new possibilities as soon as possible.
